Every strategy on every asset, honestly scored

Every one of the library's famous strategies, backtested on every famous asset over a fixed ~5-year window (costs & slippage on, no look-ahead, always measured against simply buying and holding), colored by the one honest question: did it beat buy & hold? Of the 312 with enough trades and history to judge, only 299% — did. The rest is mostly red, and that is the point.

These are historical backtest verdicts, not live prices, not today's change, not signals, and not advice. A green tile only means a higher total return than holding the asset over this one past window — it is not risk-adjusted, not luck-checked, and says nothing about the future.

How this is scored. The same honest engine as the rest of the site — next-open fills, costs & slippage on, closed-bar (no acting on prices you couldn't have known), measured against total-return buy & hold, over one fixed ~5-year window (as of 2026-09-14; a different window can give a different verdict). "Beat" means only a higher total return than holding, not a risk-adjusted or luck-checked edge. Showing the whole grid avoids cherry-picking within it, but three things it does not cure: the assets are a curated set of famous, still-trading, liquid names (survivorship); the strategies are a handful of canonical mechanisms (selection); and any single combo among 360 tried can beat by chance (try enough and some will). Open any tile and stress it with the walk-forward, robustness and noise-floor checks before trusting it. These are mechanisms to test, not recommendations.
